Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current Geocaching Guidelines.
If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

5:35pm -- Braved the cold and 12" of snow to do some cache maintenance and swap TBs. Good thing, cache had been muggled... apparently from the FS detail cleaning up the area, as there were many new piles of forest debris in piles along the trail. Cache was exposed and had been rifled through. Unfortunately, the Flip Flip Stop TB is missing. Replaced the cache, and temporarily, the use of the tool will not be necessary. L: Kota -the Adventure Bear TB to hybernate here for a short time. The hike is lovely. I hope cachers will find this an easy and enjoyable 30 minute (max) round-trip cache.
