Leisurely stroll along Ox Trail in Henry Cowell Park. Coordinates are +/- 26 feet.

I just picked up a copy of Lonely Planet’s “Micronations” and, having scanned the table of contents and a couple of chapter titles, figured “Hey, if the United States can be a country, why can’t I?

So welcome to the Free and Sovereign Geocache of TheStraydia. Please comport yourself accordingly.

FSG TheStraydia has a commanding view of the San Lorenzo River and the railroad tracks. All government operations are housed within the secure camouflaged government center located at the aforementioned longitude and latitude.

Area: Six square feet (perfect for a picnic).

Area comparative: Slightly smaller than our guest bathroom.

Currency: SFG TheStraydia, to save printing costs, recognizes the currencies of all other sovereign nations. The Treasury was established with two British pounds, $2.50 Canadian, $20 Hong Kong (pre-PRC takeover), $5 Singapore and three U.S. pennies flattened on a train track.

Signing the national registry automatically conveys dual-citizenship between your native country and FSG TheStraydia. Contributing to the Treasury conveys the additional right to assign yourself a title of nobility or as Secretary or Director of the government Ministry of your choice. Any other contributions to the infrastructure of FSG TheStraydia grants you the right to name a national holiday of your choice. Just add your new title or national holiday to your log entry.
