Geocache Description:

The trail leading to the Cache is lined by Cholla (jumping) Cactus, sometimes called the weed of the desert. A word of caution: although the trail is wide, an old disbanded road, pieces of Cholla fall onto the trail, thus making it not a good area for pets. Also, the cache is NOT within 15 feet of any Cholla Cactus.

Beyond the cache, the trail continues into the Superstition Wilderness area where it becomes much less defined as it enters a rocky area with hundreds of jojoba bushes. The cache is starting with a well-stocked ammo can; please make equitable trades.

Take the Apache Trail past the Lost Dutchman State Park, and turn onto First Water Road and continue on to a parking area at N 33° 28.210 W 111° 28.382 or at Jacobs Crosscut Trail Head parking just up the road. The trail to the cache intersects the Jacobs Crosscut Trail at roughly N 33° 28.160 W 111° 28.315.
