The History of the MiGO Winter Social and Annual Business Meeting...

The first MiGO business event was held on April 27, 2002. It appeared to be a typical Meet

and Great but had a purpose of some business discussions for the newly formed Michigan Geocaching Organization.

Soon after the well-received event  took place, they changed the icon from an "event" to a "traditional"

cache, like many cachers did back then. Read back to the original logs of that cache page for some

historic information  about the original MiGO business event.

The event, turned geocache is still active and in good shape. Check it out here;

MiGO Picnic Cache (2002)

The second annual MiGO Business event was held a couple of months earlier, in a time

thought of to be more available to everyone during the slower and colder month of February,

and so the name was change to

Michigan Geocaching Org Winter Social 2003

All future events for the MiGO Winter Social were to stay in February,

but every one was to be the annual business meeting for the organization.

Here are the links to the next few years;
