Park with lotus ponds, museum and observation tower.
About 2000 years ago many lotus flowers were bloomed the area. Some seeds were buried and fell asleep.
In 1971 construction work began and water waked the seeds.
1973 those flowers came into bloom.
The city of Gyoda developped a city park with lotus, museum and 50 meter observation tower.
Admission fee of the museum and the tower is 400 yen adult and 200 yen children (Jumior High or less) and open 9:00 - 16:30.
Park and cache area is free and 24 hours available.
２０００年ほど前、そこには蓮が咲き乱れていました。蓮の実が地中にもぐり、長い眠りにつきました。１９７１年そこに造成工事が始まり、水がたまって地中の蓮の実が目を覚ましました。１９７３年それらの蓮の花が咲き始めました。
行田市はその場所を整備し、蓮池、博物館、展望塔のある公園にしました。
博物館・展望塔の入場料は大人400円、小中学生200円で、9時から16時半まで開館しています。蓮池の公園とキャッシュのあるところは、無料で24時間開いています。
