Geocache Description:

July 2016 Geocaching Colorado Geocache of the Month

This cache is designed to be done at night.

Here is how night caches work. Bring a powerful flashlight. A bright headlamp will work, but a AAA penlite probably won't. Go to the listed coordinates and look for a small, white reflective dot nearby. To find the cache, simply follow the trail of reflective dots using the key below.

From some dots, you may not be able to see the next dot immediately so you may need to move forward or sideways a bit. Don't be distracted by other types of reflective markers; all the ones associated with this cache are small and white. The reflectors are highly directional and they look much brighter if you hold your flashlight at eye level.

The entire cache is within the boundaries of Fox Run Park. The Park is open from 5 AM to 11 PM. Expect a walk of about 1/2 mile round trip.

Hiking off-trail through the forest at night can be very disorienting and there are no markers for the return trip. Make sure you have a spare light and know how to use your GPSr to return.
