Geocache Description:

Above coordinates are not for the cache, you don't even have to visit the area.

Final cache area is mostly level, 1 small up and down, some mud, may be overgrown next spring. Trail to cache is off a bike path.

To get the coordinates for the final cache, you need to find the common name for, fagus sylvatixa f. purpurea. Example: juglans nigra = Black Walnut.

Take the number of letters in the first part of the name, in this example, Black, 5 letters = X.

In this example take the second part of the name, Walnut, 6 letters = Z.

Using fagus sylvatixa f. purpurea, find the common name of this tree.

For X in North coordinates, add 1 to the number of letters in the first part of the name: N42 19.X60. For Z add 2 to the number of letters in the second part of the name: W72 37.Z95.

At the coordinates above, not far from the final cache area, is a Massachusetts State Champion fagus sylvatixa f. purpurea.

Cache container is a small lock and lock.
