Visit a peaceful stretch of the Columbia River, at the base of
Chelan Butte. Lake Entiat is also known as Rocky Reach reservoir,
formed above the headwaters of Rocky Reach dam. Lake Entiat, the
Rocky Reach Project reservoir, extends upriver for 43 miles. Chelan
County Public Utility District has constructed several major parks
along the reservoir shoreline for public use. One of those parks,
Daroga State park is located a few miles upstream of this point.
This stretch of the river however remains in its natural state.
