Situated on a well used yet secluded bridleway which runs between Manston and Scholes in East Leeds. This Cache can be easily twinned with Bens 3rd Cache - Barnbow lane part.2. as they are within 1.4km of each other on the same bridleway.
Please take care to hide the Cache well as this bridleway although secluded is regularly used by walkers, dod walkers and cyclists.
Hidden on 10/12/06 By Ben Ellis, Holly Ellis and Amy Ellis, (Holly and Amy were on the lookout for passers by while I was the one getting stung by the nettles trying to find a good spot!)
ALSO PLEASE NOTE THE ORIGINAL HIDY HOLE FOR THIS CACHE HAS BEEN REMOVED HOWEVER I HAVE REHID IN THE SAME POSITION AS OF 27/04/07 SO HAVE NOT CHANGED THE CO-ORDS, WITH THIS IN MIND PLEASE MAKE SURE THE CACHE IS WELL HIDDEN FROM VIEW BEFORE LEAVING THE SITE, THANKS.
The Cache is hidden on Barnbow Lane, a bridleway which runs from Manston, past the back of Garforth golf course up to Scholes. The track is losely covered with stones in areas but can get very muddy and boggy in places especially during the winter.
The Cache is purposely hidden at one end of the bridleway (Manston end) with a similar Cache hidden at the top of the bridleway (Scholes end).
The Cache itself is a standard tupperware container. It is hidden somewhere up the bridleway by the side of the track.
