moose_is_loose: Time for this cache to go per the new regs. for Wharton. It had a good run. This was as close as I could get to the benchmark the day I was looking. It's amazing how an area can change with th little rain.

Geocache Description:


I had my sights on an (as yet) elusive spot out in my backyard and was this close { } on the map. Anyhow, long story short I did not make it to my intended target, had an ammo can with me, and spotted a perfect (matching paint job) location and made the executive decision to place a cache. Parking can be seasonally very close by…but it is the last few feet that may challenge your resolve to seek this cache. There is an eclectic mix of trade items so there should be something for all that choose to seek this pristine location. I followed some game trails and may have blazed a new one or two, but the brush will recover, as will I.

As always, be aware of your surroundings. Way point your final parking spot and be careful what you step in on your journey. Also, PLEASE wear BLAZE ORANGE when in the Wharton State Forest. Thanks for taking your time to cache with me. M.I.L.
