Located near the Red Rooster Day Use Area, Red Rock Canyon State Park. About .35 mile off State Hwy. 14. Dirt road in, brush will not scratch full size truck if careful. Car with higher clearance recommended.
Since we RV camp at Ricardo Campground often, we try to do all the caches nearby. There was a cache [Red Rooster] that we could not find after several trys. Placed this cache more than .1 mile away from Rooster's location few months ago. While doing so one of Tribe almost broke a foot on rocky hillside hide. Found out Red Rooster Cache was no longer listed in system so we just moved our cache to better location and will report cache to be reviewed. Original contents are; Jingle ball, American Professional Ambulance lanyard, pedometer, Appaloosa horse, turquoise belt buckle, plastic Indian Chief, Ambulance flashlight, magnifying glass, monkey, stuffed pig, deck of cards, and a TB.
