Courthouse "Squares" Micro - v2.0 Traditional Cache
DrDFrid: It appears that the construction is perilously close to being completed (still has a large cube of bricks on the lawn) but there is no evidence that the primary structure needed for the cache is going to be replaced by the county. It is with a heavy heart that I will need to archive this one. If the 'powers that be' elect to replace the structure in the future I will un-archive it. Thanks to all that have searched for this on over the years.

This one is a replacement cache for the one archived earlier this year that was placed by "fivebushes" in 2004. As this is my County Seat I thought it was a great place to keep one active. It is a similar style cache and approximately in the same location as before. The coords should get you pretty close.
This cache is located on the Courthouse Square of Bibb County in Centreville (yes, it is spelled that way). It is outside the historic courthouse on the grounds. Small towns with Courthouse Squares are slowly fading away as "progress" changes things, not always for the better. Take time to view the memorial statue in front of the courthouse. Visit some of the businesses and homes around the Square if time permits. There is also a cache at the nearby Cahaba River Park where they have the annual Cahaba Lillies Festival.
As the name of the cache implies, the cache is located below something with squares on it that may or may not be in use by some locals when you try to locate it. Use stealth as you will be in the open and bring your own writing implement.
