You are looking for a Decon container!
This is my very First Puzzle Cache so bear with me. You won't find the cache at the coords listed above but you will find 18 "books" on the front lawn of Taft Branch Library in Orange at the corner of Taft and Cambridge. The lawn and parking lot are accessible 24/7.
These "books" were created by local artist Mel W. Slavick in October 2002 to commemorate the reopening of this branch after 6 months of remodeling. They are constructed out of Quick Set Cement and have been planted in 6 "stacks" of various heights in the front lawn area. Please ignore any books next to the front door as they DO NOT count in this puzzle.
The books below are listed in no particular order. The Number 1 position in each stack is the bottom book touching the ground. Count up from there to figure out what position in a stack a particular book is. Then once you have the position of each book you can figure out the coords below using my "formula." Two stacks have 4 books each, 2 stacks have 3 books each, and 2 stacks have 2 books each.
Some titles are faded and you may have to squint to read them. Best to attempt during daylight hours.

Simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication math skills are all that is required to solve this puzzle. Just figure out the proper order of the "books."
