Zero Miles Per Gallon says it all
While wandering around the Alafia Corridor with Paddler Found looking for a unique hiding spot we stumbled across a winner with this one for sure. We have hiked the corridor many times since conquering Ol’ Bubba Hide’s - Where The Green Fern Grows GCD459 and passed by this spot many times but until PF’s sharp eyes caught this we never saw it. Might have something to do with the herd of wild boars that hastened our exit last trip but you never know :O)
This is a spot that is summed up completely by it’s name. We ask all of you seekers who find this to PLEASE do NOT post pictures of this spot with your logs as we would like this to be a surprise to each person that finds it when they find it. When your engine ceases to run, when your wheels stop turning, when your oil dries up and your valves stop rattling, this is where you end up. Everything returns to nature somehow, someway, some day… but until then we can all stare in amazement of the process happening.
This is a full size cache pre-stocked with some small trade items and if you dropped your pen seeking one of the other caches in the corridor, this one has you covered. Be sure to hide and secure in place as well as you found it to keep it a good search for the next cachers and to keep it hidden away from our four-legged caching muggles.
We are hoping that adding a few new caches to the corridor might attract some more geocachers to this amazing beautiful spot of SWFWMD property in Hillsborough County. Parking for the local caches is found at N27 52.273 W82 08.150 and there are a load of other caches out here.
