This version of the TrailMix will be at Monroe Reservoir at the Fire Tower off of Tower Ridge Road.
Come join me in celebrating the 1st Birthday of the TrailMix Series. Let's cut a cake and snack a little before hitting the trail. It has been a very interesting year. It rained during TrailMix 3. We lost some people at TrailMix 4. TrailMix 5 was rained out. Let's do it all again.
We will be hiking the Sycamore Trail at Monroe Reservoir. There are 7 existing caches and 8 new ones to devour. I would rate most of the trail as a 2-1/2. There are a few tough hills and one 3-1/2 hill at the end.
The easiest way to get there is Hwy 446. Turn onto Tower Ridge Road and go about 5.75 miles to the Fire Tower.
