Geocache Description:

A TAG sponsored geocaching event for the entire family at Bear Creek Educational Forest near Lake Talquin in Gadsden County

When: Saturday, April 21, 2007 9 am until 4 pm or you get tired
Where: Bear Creek Educational Forest in Gadsden County

It's been nearly three years since the first North Central Florida Geocaching Event so it's time for another. For those who can't attend Geowoodstock V or for those who want to get a head start, this is THE place to be.

Highlights:
* temporary caches with varying degrees of diffculty and types will be placed for newbies to "hunt and find"
* door prizes
* time to exchange stories/ideas
* travel bug and coin exchange

Possible breakout sessions:
* safety while geocaching/building a geocaching first-aid kit
* placing caches and the permitting process
* benefits of premium membership with Geocaching.com
* how to use queries
* paperless geocaching

At lunch we will fire up the grill for hot dogs. Feel free to bring a favorite side dish, desert, salad or drink and join some of the nicest folks for a meet, greet and eat. For our foreign, ie: NEFGA and other long distance attendees, cash donations will be gladly accepted. Please log what you’ll bring.

And hey, if you want to do a picnic lunch on your own - no problem!
The Park has an outdoor pavillion so if the weather turns wet, we'll have shelter.
