Geocache Description:


Most East end residents have driven by this monument thousands of times but few have taken the time to stop and see what it is all about. The city of St. Matthews dedicated this spot to its WWII veterans. It had fallen into disrepair but has recently been cleaned and brought back to the condition that those brave soldiers deserve.

This is a very busy area and great stealth is required. Especially beware of the nearby gas station attendants.
