Cache is an ammo can (supplied by "lostguy") in the Hollenbeck Canyon area. Not exactly on a bank of sand (or a river either for that matter), but what the heck.
So Bob Dylan is one of my favorite musicians, he has been writing fantastic songs for 40some years, and continues to make great albums. This cache contains his book, "Chronicles", which is also the log, so don't take it. Also included is my old mp3 player (please don't take this or the spare batteries either) so you can listen to the song that is this cache's namesake if you like. Other Dylan tunes from various albums are also on it. Bring your own headphones if you are afraid of other listener's yucky ears.
Depending on when you come, you may or not see the river flowing. This morning I could hear the trickle down below as I sat on a rock and enjoyed the sounds of nature around me.
