There are 2 small unnamed lakes between Ludlow Lake and Horseshoe lake. This cache is located on the banks of one of those "lakes." This lake is shown on several maps, but it is really more like a marshy wide place in the stream, so don't bring your boat.
The cache is about 2 miles from Larsen Lake road (4 miles round trip) on a logging road. You may park at gate L10. There are many fallen trees across the logging road you will have to go over, under or around. The last 1/4 mile or so is off-trail trekking down a hill and up the stream a bit.
The cache itself is a blue tupperware container with some trinkets on top of a stump--very much in plain sight as long as you are in the woods near it. I don't think anyone ever comes here so I wasn't worried about someone coming across it.
