Welcome to Canada.
The sign is now gone, but it used to hang on the nearby bridge- representing the border crossing into Canada for the 1987 movie, The Untouchables. It was filmed very close to this location. The filmmakers also built a cabin in the field across the river. For several months after the end of the filming the sign still hung on the bridge and confused many unaware drivers. The cabin stood for a few years before finally falling apart and being removed. It was pretty cool as the walls were made to fold out for interior scenes.
Sean Connery won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for best supporting actor and the movie itself won several awards for screenplay and score.
This cache will be watched over by Jen's Dad who lives nearby and has cached with us several times. You are looking for a green match container. Bring a writing instrument.
When you find the cache you are standing on the Canadian side of the river.
