Devil Duckies: Still a very cool place for a cache. Nice new monument on the way in celebrating the bridal path. Nice well marked trails. Maybe someone else will place a cache here. We're moving so I'm pulling or adopting out our caches.

Geocache Description:

A small lock-n-lock on the White Hill loop trail. You can pick this up on your way to or from GCZZNR & KU4234, depending if you go right or left at the first turn!

Saw an article on this place in the Southampton Press which described it as "an 80-acre block of protected forest" and just had to check it out. The benchmark was a bonus! The article states "Recently, members of the Southampton Trails Preservation Society and town staff blazed an easy-to-follow trail route from Edge of Woods Road to the top of White Hill. The greenbelt starts as a very narrow band of oaks and hickories, no more than 100 feet wide and soon enters a grove of American beech trees, some of which have been dug in preparation for removal and transplanting. Hopefully, this work and the pile of logging debris nearby were done before the town established this as a nature preserve."
