Where: Meet in the Car Park at 0930 or find us at the headline coordinates for stage 1. If you don't find us there, we will be at the reference waypoint for stage 2.
What: We will be continuing the scrub and bramble clearance work carried out during previous CITO events along the adjacent cycle way (N 51° 52.145 W 002° 15.). When we have finished there, we will be clearing willow and scrub in the ditch on Oxleaze (N 51° 52.190 W 002° 15.690).
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
We ask you to bring your own gloves and where appropriate tools, so if you have shears, loppers and secateurs for the clearance please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the Ranger will have a supply and will also bring litter pickers and bags.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work. Cake will be provided at break time!
