Drive up the Angeles Crest Highway 14 miles from La Canada to Red Box. Turn right onto the Mt. Wilson Road 2 1/2 Miles to Eaton Saddle.
The Parking area is at
34 14.361 / 118 5.596
Follow the fire road through the tunnel and past the Mt. Lowe trail turn off.
Continue to the peak.
This a hike for well conditioned hikers, and hikers that like adventure.
I started at 6 AM and got back to the car at 10 AM.
I am in very good shape, and move fast on difficult terrain.
Take alot of water if you do this in the summer heat.
Not for children.
This was the first time I did this hike, what a great adventure.
It will go on my top ten list.
Left a rock climbing caribiner, space shuttle, american flag, etc.
Cache is located under a pile of rocks.
Should be easy to find.
