Vacman: It is with great sadness that I have decided to archive this cache. As this was one of the longest running geocaches here in California (1/11/2003), this is especially difficult.
This location is a beautiful spot and although I have permission from the city of RPV to place the cache here, the Federal Government technically owns the land and have recently placed all the signs referred to elsewhere in the logs. These signs have only recently been placed and are not on the hiking trails or near the cache location itself.
The signs are really to keep people off the hillsides as well as the actual Nike bunkers themselves.
In the interests of preserving our good relationship with the city and not wishing to draw undue attention from the "man", I have removed the cache.
