Ywa Thit Monastery
No Caches so far in Inle-Lake area?? Time to change that and let you also get in contact with some remarkable local personalities... When you have found the box, you will know what I´m talking about ;-)
Ywa Thit is a beautiful teak monastery close to Nyaung Shwe. It`s more than 100 years old and only two monks live there with their cat Gwi. And all of them love to get visitors!! So - don`t hesitate to enter the building, look around, chat and drink some tea with the monks, sign the guestbook and find a small coloured box right on the altar. (see Spoiler...) No worries, the monks of course know about the game and keep the box in good condition. They open the building around 6am and close around sundown.
Just rent a bike or walk from Nyaung Shwe - it`s not far from "city" centre.

Important note about Donations: Like in every Pagoda and Monastery in Myanmar there is a Donationbox in the building but the monks don`t expect money for maintaining the cache. And no one will ask you for a donation in return for showing you the box or visiting the monastery. They just love to have visitors! Just in case for having different experiences, please let me know!
