The location does not take reservations or have a separate party room, but the management knows that a group of approximately 25 people will be coming at 1:30. I will show up a little early (12:30-1:00-ish) and grab a table and put up some home-made "Reserved for Geocaching Group" signs. (that's what the lady on the phone suggested).
Food and drinks available for purchase. Plenty of free parking nearby.
There will be a prize drawing at 2:00. The prizes are usually things that I have laying around my house, sometimes related to geocaching. You are welcome to add to the prizes if you have some things that you no longer want. One person's trash is another's stash of geo-swag.
People often bring their trackable collections to share with others. Some people bring trackables that they want to pass on to other cachers.
You are welcome to stay after 2:00, if you wish.
For New Cachers:
Before the event: use the "Log Your Visit" button at the upper right hand side of the cache page. Post a "Will Attend" for this event if you think you might attend. This will make sure you receive any announcements about the event.
During the Event: sign the log sheet.
After the Event: post an "attended" log for the event to claim a "smiley" for the event. The event will be archived on April 5th. Remember to log any trackables that you discover or pick up.
Future "Middle" Events (usually the last Wednesday of the month at 1:30): May 24 - NOTE, the May meeting is the 4th Wednesday of the month, not the LAST Wednesday.
NO MIDDLE OF THE WEEK EVENTS IN JUNE or JULY.
August 30 - Middle of the Week Event #3-1 - location to be determined.
