Just hanging around, watching woodpeckers and chipmunks.
Acorn woodpeckers love using the large snag close to this cache. They gather acorns from the oaks growing in the area and place them in holes in the rotting pine. Contrary to popular belief, they do not save these acorns for later. In fact, they are farming! Grubs and insects work on decomposing the acorns and the birds return to eat them. Pileated woodpeckers sometimes do the same trick.
