This Flash Mob gathering of geocachers will be 30 minutes long and happening the same time all over the world (desipte Australia being 17 hours ahead of Pacific Dayligh Savings Time), we are all holding the event simultaneously with the rest of the world, the same time as what California in the USA are. This is for the fun of joining in with our worldwide geocaching family signing logs and gathering all at the same time. You MUST be present DURING this time to claim this event because after 30 minutes…we're gone!
AGENDA
0245 - 0259 (2.45am - 2.59am)
Participants casually position themselves (not in large groups) in their Oneseis (if they wish to wear one) at various locations within a short walk of GZ but not in sight of GZ !!!
0259 - 0300 (2.59am - 3.00am)
Casually make your way towards GZ but as much as you can, act like a muggle (in a oneseis??), pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen (even tho most will be in oneseis??) but STAY AWAY from the GZ until your GPS clock tells you it's 0300 (3.00am) exactly.
0300 (3.00am)
Everyone arrives at GZ, Capt.Roverman will be there (in a oneseis) with a treasure chest (will the treasure chest be in a oneseis??). As you arrive, sign the log book and sign a wooden coin to go into the draw for FTF and other prizes. Dont forget to Mingle and Meet old friends and make new ones. Share stories. Compare Oneseis. Maybe even grab some hot to drink and something hot to eat.
*** Dont forget there will be the Trackable Display Table setup for anyone who wishes to place down Travel Bugs that need to be Traded, moved on or even just discovered (I think even the table might be a trackable too!).***
0310 - 0330 (3.10am - 3.30am)
FTF will be drawn from the treasure chest, the best Oneseis will be nominated and prizes shall be awarded. Participants assemble for the traditional WWFM group photos and to record the group.
0330 EXACTLY (3.30am)
IMMEDIATELY LEAVE the area. The area will be evacuated without a trace. The treasure chest will be packed up along with the log book.
*** Don't forget to grab any Trackables you may want, what ever is left over l will move on.***
If everything goes right we will have had people coming out of nowhere and gathering for 30 minutes, holding a geocaching event and then disappearing for the Flash Mob to have its full effect, it must appear to come from nowhere and disappear just as quickly.
