To put Classical Literature on one's reading list is to expand his knowledge and awareness of cultures and times not his own. These are books that have stood the test of time, not only readable during the season of publication but worthy reading years, even centuries, later. To name only ten on classical fiction list: Uncle Tom's Cabin, Robinson Crusoe, Huckleberry Finn, War and Peace, Treasure Island, The Last of the Mohicans, Two Years Before the Mast, Don Quixote, A Tale of Two Cities, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Good Earth, Gulliver's Travels, Moby Dick.
