Once upon a time, the whole story started quite simple with a small rabbit, which grew up and bred under peculiar conditions …
And before you could turn around, suddenly the whole area was completely covered (or tiled?) – but strangely enough – rather aesthetically in manifold ways.

Recently, this “phenomenon” found his way into basic research, material science, photonics, … and was even worth a price.
But into which dimensions the whole topic will finally take us, nobody dares to say. Into the 6th or 8th or even higher dimensions?
