near the cabins on the
easiest approach is from the colorado river side, up the kokopelli bike trail just above dewey bridge. this road has also been called 'owl draw' and 'yellow cat trail'. a couple of rough spots on this road make access by car difficult; pickup should be ok unless it's wet.
once you arrive at the 2 old timber cabins, you're almost there.
cache is a .30 cal ammo can hidden away from these two cabins but near another structure that most visitors never see.
