This is a kiddy cache as there is not much caches of this format in
the Durban area.
It have exotic ducks and a pair of Black swans in a landscaped
garden. The aviaries are stocked with a variety of birds and
pheasants.
The animal farm complies with all the S.P.C.A. regulations and is
licensed under the Animal Protection Act. It is also a member of
F.A.C.T. (Farm Animal Conservation Trust).
The children can go off by themselves and have great fun feeding
the exotic ducks and baby animals, such as piglets, goats and
ponies. They can also go on donkey cart rides.
OPEN: Tuesday - Sunday 9.30am to 4.30pm and public holidays.
Entrance fee: R15.00 per person - children will receive a free
packet of animal food. (Under 1 year Free)
The Cache is placed at the Dam before the Main entrance.
Drive over the bridge and park on the left just over the
bridge.
We have the owner’s permission to place the cache at Duck
‘n Deck. The owner knows about the cache placed here,
obviously the workers do not know it. The cache used to be inside
the complex but because it’s commercial value we moved it
outside. Please do not attempt the cache if there are workers
around.
