Geocache Description:

Very near by the geocache is a replica of the Statue of Liberty that was erected by the Fargo Lions club on June 19th, 1950. Parking is available near by on the ND side of the bridge in the Fryn' Pan restaurant parking lot.Geocache is winter friendly.

At one time there was a Geocaching Challenge called "Lady Liberty" at the statue. Those "Challenges" have been discontinued but it is still fun to check out the statue while you are in the area. The statue was stolen in 2019 while the roundabout was under construction. The new statue was commissioned and replaced in 2020 by Industrial Buiders, which is the same company that built the Vetrans Memorial Bridge to the east of here. You should go there and check it out for yourself. This cache is a micro container with a magnet attached to it and it is attached to a bench.
Here is a fun fact that I discovered since the last construction project was completed on the roundabout and the reconstruction of this sitting area. If you stand in the middle of the circle made out of bricks facing eastward towards Moorhead, you can hear an echo of your voice when you talk. Standing in this position will also have you facing in the direction of one of the benches that the cache is hidden on.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[A magnet will only stick to certain parts of the bench.]
