Geocache Description:

This is a very special cache, created very carefully and is a great story... It was originally titled "CC & RD's Special Cache" but I renamed it "She Said Yes!" for obvious reasons described below. Upon finding this cache and the pathtags inside, you will understand even better. There should be plenty of pathtags for a while, so no rush. If you grab one, grab only one per cacher name, and please log on pathtags.com!

I created this cache for cincity - my girlfriend, now fiancee, to find on Earth Day. After a few weeks of planning and some special help from some key players and friends, I got this cache placed and in play. The pathtags in the cache were made for my proposal to her, designed by my friends and neighbors, Ruderat and Nicerat (The Ruderat Crew). Many thanks to them for their assistance with this event!

cincity's best friend Erik had planned to pick her up from her house at a specific time, drive by Fonthill, and ask her if any new caches were out... By that time, the cache was supposed to be placed by OReviewer.

Well, as it turned out, she got hung up at work and had to unexpectedly go by her school to finish a project, making her about two hours late after carefully planning this event.

With all of the elements in place, Erik was able to get cincity to drive waaay out of her way to come for a special surprise at Font Hill - she was going out with friends and taking a different way out to her weekly trivia plans and a birthday party, where she was originally planning on going with Erik.

She finally arrived, and with a flashlight and headlamp supplied by me for the both of them, they headed out into the woods to find the cache. I hid down the hill behind one of the cars in the lot. Once they had floundered around a bit with her iPhone and the bounce in the area, cincity's light went out and she had to run back to the car for a fresh one. They finally made the grab - at which time I was just outside the edge of the woods and popped on my headlamp as cincity was going through the cache.

She looked up and saw me, expecting me to be in Minneapolis at home, and I dropped down to her level on the ground with the cache, hugged her, grabbed her hands, told her she was the best thing I had ever found and asked her to marry me.

She said "YES!"

Please take a pathtag while they last, we may have a few more to put in if they run out, but it started with about 20 or so. The swag in the cache is high quality, please let me know if you think it has been or might be muggled due to its placement. This should be a great cache for kids with great swag.

Special thanks also to OReviewer for assistance with this cache!!! Couldn't have done it without you!

The cache has been approved by the Fonthill and Mercer Museums Management. Special thanks to Site Administrator Edward Reidell for his assistance after being demugglified! Thanks to him also for a very nice Fonthill lapel pin for the cache, which I made for the FTF... Parking is close by, and should be easily accessible. The park is closed to all but pedestrian traffic after sunset.

Congrats to cincity for her FTF!
