A series of caches hidden to celebrate the locations of Scout Groups that have existed in Keirawarra (Scout) District (Helensburgh to Mount Kembla). It is 90 years this year (2013) since the opening of the first Scout Groups in the Wollongong Districts.
1st Mangerton Scout Group Headquarters - Brownlee Park, 2 Payne Street Mangerton.
Not only is this Group long gone, but so is it's Hall. The only thing that stands as a reminder of the Group that was once here is the flat area upon which play equipment now sits. This is where the Hall once stood. The flat area further up the hill was where a Guide Hall once stood.
Please cover the cache well.
