This was Lucy episode #30 - aired 5-5-52 .
This is my second cache honoring this episode.
One of the most memorable of the famous Lucy episodes.
"Hello friend, I'm your vetameatavegamin girl. Are you tired, rundown, listless? Do you poop out at parties? Are you unpopular? The answer to all your problems is in this little bottle: Vitameatavegamin.. Vitameatavegamin contains vitamins, meat, vegetables and minerals. Yes, with Vitameatavegamin you can spoon your way to health. All you do is take a tablespoon after every meal. (Lucy samples the product). It's so tasty too. Just like candy. So why don't you join the the thousands of happy peppy people and get a great big bottle Vitameatavegamin tomorrow. That's Vita --- Meata---Vegamin."
After repeated rehearsals, Lucy gets bombed because the liquid tonic is 23% alcohol. Further attempts to polish her performance prove hilarious, with Lucy garling her words and slurring the speech. This was Lucille Ball at her comic best.
The vitameatavegamin was actually apple pectin bought at a health food store on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood.
