Fauld Explorer Trail
You are now standing on the Stonepit Hills. Look north across Fauld Hall, the River Dove, and Scropton to the Derbyshire Peaks in the distance. Look east to Tutbury, where you started. And west is the start of the Queen’s Purse Wood.
In possibly the least-useful 'spoiler' photo ever, we'd like to point out that there's a geocache in this photo somewhere.

Behind you and all around are various ex-military lumps and bumps. Over the ridge lies the former RAF Faulds camp, but we're now heading into the Queen's Purse Wood, which was almost completely destroyed in a 1944 explosion.
