How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

On Fain Road, about 1 mile south of Lakeshore Drive exit. About 4,800 feet elevation. Fairly smooth terrain, with slight slope. Vegetation: mostly short grass, a lot of cactus & thick weeds in summer.

This area offers sweeping views of the surrounding valley & mountains in the distance. Herds of antelope may also be seen.
This is my 3rd cache to be named after a Lynyrd Skynyrd song.
It contains a few small items & a log book in a clear, plastic, rectangular "Official Geocache" container.
Writing instrument is helpful.
Watch for cactus. Scorpions & other bugs may be present.
Park as far as possible off the highway & take care when exiting your vehicle. Because of the often heavy traffic on this road, I recommend using the pullout about 1/4 mile to the south, even if it means a little hike.
Please reseal tightly when you're finished.
