When finding the cache, please remove the log container by pulling from the top using the green plastic cap. Do Not approach from Top of hill. NOT on private property.
Many people know the tale of the lumberjack, Paul Bunyan, and his big blue ox named Babe. What people don't know is that he didn't just spend all his time in the Midwest. He was often hired to do logging all throughout the United States, which at one time included Spokane.
He cleared trees from the whole hillside near this cache. But he couldn't clear everything, because he needed some trees to hide his camp while he was here chopping down trees. He hid his belongings very well in these wooded areas, but never had luck hiding his drinks. That is, until he came up with a clever disguise for them. It turns out that he left one of those drink containers nearby and it eventually became a cache container.
