Vom Parkplatz Friedrichshafner Hütte aus geht es über eine Forststrasse zum Sonnenkopf. Von hier aus folgen sie den Wegweiser * 1000 Höhenmeter Friedrichshafner Hütte* der sie durch zahlreiche Lawinenverbauungen bergauf zum Sonnenkogel führt.
Nehmen sie sich Zeit für eine kurze Rast und geniesen sie den spektakulären Ausblicke auf die Galtürer Hausberge
Gorfen,- und Ballunspitze sowie das Panorama bis in das hinterste Jamtal.
Von nun an geht es über einen Fahrweg zur Friedrichshafnerhütte und weiter bergab
zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
Die Friedrichshafner Hütte ist in der Sommersaison geöffnet. Für genaue Öffnungszeiten
informieren sie sich bitte auf folgenden
Dauer reine Gehzeit: 4:45 h
Dauer mit cachen: 7:00 - 8:00 h
Geocaches: 48 + 2 Sidecaches
Zu beachten:
Es gibt für jeden Cache ein recht eindeutiges Spoilerbild und einen hilfreichen Hint.
Die D/T Wertung bezieht sich auf die komplette Runde.
Bedenken sie das im Gebirge fast kein Handyempfang sein kann.
Ich empfehle dringlichst eine Offline Liste zu erstellen, und/oder die Spoiler Fotos down zu loaden.
Es ist nicht verboten volle oder nasse logbücher auszutauschen und eventuelle verschwunderne Caches zu ersetzen. Besten Dank dafür!

Bitte gebt bei einem Unfall die Koordinaten an, ihr habt ja ein GPS-Gerät. Hilfreich ist auch die Gratis-Notfall-App der Bergrettung Tirol für iPhone oder Android: 
Im Falle eines Unfalles werden durch Drücken des Knopfes die GPS-Koordinaten an die Leitstelle Tirol GmbH übermittelt und es wird eine Verbindung zur Leitstelle aufgebaut. Diese App funktioniert nur in Tirol.
From the Friedrichshafner Hütte car park, take a forest road to the Sonnenkopf. From here, follow the signpost * 1000 meters of altitude difference to the Friedrichshafner Hütte*, which takes you uphill through numerous avalanche barriers to the Sonnenkogel.
Take your time for a short break and enjoy the
spectacular views of Galtür's local mountains
Gorfen, - and Ballunspitze as well
as the panorama to the farthest Jamtal.
From now on it goes over a road to the Friedrichshafnerhütte and
further downhill back to the starting point.
The Friedrichshafner Hütte is open in the summer season.

Consider that there can be almost
no mobile phone reception in the mountains.
I strongly recommend creating an offline list
