Cache is a regular sized tupper-snap-on container, painted camo.
This geocache can be found on a lovely example of a "shield volcano". It was the last volcano of the area to deposit massive amounts of basalt that you see in the cliffs and canyons that make up Lake Billy Chinook and Cove Palisades State Park. Some interesting geology here: https://www.oregongeology.org/pubs/og/OBv32n08.pdf
This was our very first cache placement ever (2002 WOW!) and it is near and dear to our hearts. It can get windy up there so layer up, and keep in mind the road is maintained except in deep snow, but is narrow and windy, take it slow because you never know when you might meet someone on the way down. UPDATE: cinder road from north is now blocked off with boulders!!!! You must approach from the SW.
Enjoy the great views!
