This cache is located in the Finchbrook Preserve in Wolcott, CT. The preserve is 61 acres and has 2.5 miles of well marked light blue blazed trails.
The parking area is located at the dead end of Barbara Drive in Wolcott, CT. This is the first cache that is being placed in this Preserve. A member of the board of directors of the preserve has given permission for this cache to be placed here. The Preserve is open to the public and hiking and geocaching are encouraged. Please do not force anything open. Use your brains not brawn to gain access. You must sign this log to list it as a find. This area has tough terrain and may not be suitable for children. There is a stream crossing and rocks on the trails that make the terrain more difficult. I also noticed lots of wildlife (and skeeters!!) in the area. The cache is about a 1/2 mile round trip from the parking area. The cache is a green lock and lock container. The cache is located just off of the light blue blazed trail.
