De/From Regoufe a/to Drave
[pt] O objectivo desta geocache é divulgar o percurso
pedestre PR14, na Serra da Freita, bem como as aldeias Regoufe e
Drave. Em Regoufe é possível visitar as antigas minas de volfrâmio,
exploradas pelos ingleses, durante a 2ª Guerra Mundial. Drave é um
lugar mágico, que vale a pena visitar, não só pela aldeia em si,
mas também pelas belas paisagens circundantes, tais como o Vale de
Paivô.
[en] The goal for this geocache is to promote the
pedestrian trail PR14, in the Freita Mountains, as well as the
villages Regoufe and Drave.
At Regoufe you can visit
the old wolfram mines, prospected by the english during the World
War II. Drave is a magical place, well worth visiting, not only for
the village itself, but also for the beautiful surrounding
landscapes, such as the Paivô Valley.
Sobre o percurso pedestre PR14:
[pt] O trilho PR14 é linear, tem 4km (mais 4km para o
regresso), é de dificuldade média/baixa e liga as aldeias de
Regoufe e Drave. Os desníveis são pouco acentuados, mas o trilho em
algumas partes é muito irregular e com muitas pedras soltas.
Recomenda-se algum cuidado e calçado apropriado. Mais informação

About the pedestrian trail PR14:
[en] The trail PR14 is linear, 4km long (plus 4km to return),
has a medium/low difficulty and connects the villages Regoufe and
Drave. The trail's slopes are soft but on some parts the terrain is
very irregular and with many loose rocks. You should take some
caution and wear appropriate footwear. More information about the

Sobre a geocache:
[pt] A cache é de tamanho normal e está a menos de 1km de
Drave, pelo trilho PR14, num local com uma vista magnífica, quer
para a lindíssima aldeia de Drave (também conhecida como Aldeia
Mágica), quer para os profundos vales circundantes. Para chegarem
ao local exacto da cache terão que sair alguns (poucos) metros fora
do trilho. Embora não seja obrigatório recomendamos que façam o
trilho PR14, pela beleza das paisagens. A visita à cascata/lagoa em
Drave (onde podem dar um mergulho) é obrigatória (veja a foto
abaixo). Se deixarem o carro em Regoufe aproveitem para visitar as
minas e fazer as caches GC15AWK e GC15B20 que lá se encontram. Se
encontrarem geocoins ou travel bugs, por favor, não sejam comilões
e não levem mais que um(a), e é simpático se deixarem outro(a) no
lugar do(a) que levarem. Obrigado.
About the geocache:
[en] The geocache is of regular size and it's located less than
1km from Drave, by the trail PR14, in a place with a magnificent
view both to the beautiful Drave village (also known as the Magic
Village), as to the surrounding deep valleys. The exact location of
the geocache is a few meters off the trail. Although it's not
mandatory, we recommend that you do the trail PR14, for the beauty
of the landscapes. The visit to the waterfall/pond in Drave (where
you can take a dip) is mandatory (look at the photo below). If you
park the car in Regoufe, take the opportunity to visit the mines
and the geocaches GC15AWK and GC15B20 located there. If you find
any geocoin or travel bug, please, don't be greedy and don't take
more than one, and it would be nice if you left another one in its
