Atlanta Area Geocachers: CITO @ Blue Heron's Emma Wetlands

Location: Trail head of Emma Wetlands (0 Emma Lane, Atlanta, GA).

When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday March 30

Event: We are participating in invasive species removal at the Emma Wetlands of the Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Buckhead. Please wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet and dirty. Also please bring a reusable water bottle. A water cooler, snacks, tools, and gloves will all be provided. There is ample street parking at the cul-de-sac where the trailhead is but the preserve recommends carpooling if possible. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Make sure you log a note saying "Will Attend" so we can have a good head count for the event.

Bonus: If you participate in a CITO event between March 1 and May 31, you will receive a digital souvenir on your profile from Geocaching as part of CITO 2019 Season 1.

Note: If there are severe weather issues on the day of the event, we will cancel the event and reschedule the event. Please do not show up if there is severe weather. We will monitor the weather the day of the event and will make an announcement on the this cache page, should the event be cancelled.
