"Six Jizo Cricle"
The six Jizo monuments were built at different times, the size & shape of each Jizo is different. The Jizo are located in a traffic circle is at the crossing of five ancient roads.
During the Edo Period, followers of the god of Atago built Jizo to ask for divine intervention against sickness.
The Jizo were originally placed in the farm fields, but where relocated to the traffic circle of this residential area.
Stealth and respect for the area required. This area is obviously well watched and cared for by the residents of this community.

「上藤沢の六道地蔵」
畑の5本の古道の交差点に、年代、大きさ、形も違って建立された六道地蔵。
江戸中期に人々が愛宕の神を信仰して、無病息災の願いを込めて建立。
昔は畑の五差路の辻、今は住宅街のロータリーの中。
ペンをお持ち下さい。
ヒントを参考にして、六道地蔵のあるサークル内部には入らないで下さい。
