The Back Track is a great family walk through some attractive bush. After about 25 -30 minutes (less if you are on a mountain bike) you will reach a place where you can rest. After catching your breath and admiring the view, hunt for the cache. It is a black 200 ml sistema container in a plastic zip lock bag. Room for a few small items.
The cache is hidden up the Back Track in the Kahuterwara Valley. It is very popular with mountain bikers so if you are walking take care.
For mountain bikers, a common loop is to ride up Back Track to the gate at Scott’s Rd into the area being logged. During the week, logging is being carried out at the Scots Rd end of the track and will continue every year through to 2015 so it is not possible to complete a circuit.
