A quiet cemetery set back from a gravel road.
The Cameron Cemetery dates back approximately 150 years. At one time Cameron Presbyterian Church was located here, being established in 1867, the year which Canada was formed as a country. The church, formerly situated here was moved to the Lambton Heritage Museum, located south of Grand Bend, Ontario, on highway 21. I can only presume that the church would have sat in front of the cemetery thus this would explain the open area in front of the cemetery, where the laneway leads from the road to the cemetery; and why today it appears the cemetery sits in a farm field.
