Ophidiophobia
Ophidiophobia is an irrational fear of snakes. In
Wisconsin there are 21 native species of snakes. Only two of these
are venomous, the Timber Rattlesnake and the Massasauga
Rattlesnake. The average person exercises reasonable caution around
venomous snakes for the inherent danger they pose. A typical
ophidiophobic not only fears snakes when in close proximity but
also dreads seeing them, even in pictures. Non-ophidiophobics may
be comforted by the fact that there has been only one fatal Timber
Rattlesnake bite in the state of Wisconsin since 1910. There have
been five other documented bites due to intentional handling, four
of which involved alcohol abuse.
This
cache is located in Patrick Marsh in Sun Prairie. Solving the
puzzle will reveal the coordinates for the final. The retrieval of
this cache will require a round trip walk of just under 1 mile. You
will be looking for an ammo can. Please take extra care when
rehiding the container. There is an unregistered geocoin for the
FTF.
The proper Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Jacob
Fries of the DNR.
