Geocache Description:

Wookalar
type of animal with a snout-like nose that appears to walk both on all four feet and on its hind legs.

For the last several years, there have been reports of unusual occurences in a remote wooded area of rural West Virginia. Local residents have reported hearing strange snorting sounds late in the evening, with a few actual sightings of some kind of creature occuring just after sunset. Eyewitness reports describe some type of animal with a snout-like nose that appears to walk both on all four feet and on its hind legs. Further investigation in the area has revealed strange scratch marks on trees, large unrecognized animal-like tracks, and disturbed areas in the deep underbrush where it appears that something has been resting or sleeping. The locals have nicknamed the creature "Wookalar", due to its pig-like snout and its tendency to walk on two feet like a human. What is this strange creature roaming the West Virginia countryside?
