The above coordinates are the starting point, and parking, for
this night cache (bring your flashlight!). The trail leads you
through a section of Z Boaz park that is generally unused. I have
heard the city of Benbrook plans on developing a more “open” park
here around 2013. For now, there is just a series of trails leading
back through the wilderness…one of them even leads to my back
yard.
At no point during this night cache will you need to go near the
railroad tracks. In fact, the trail should be leading you away from
those tracks. That being said, depending on how long it takes you
to find the hide, you may or may not hear the low rumble of the
night train passing through. When you see the dear crossing sign
you are headed in the right direction.
The terrain is mostly simple; however, there is a little twist
at the end that makes it a bit more challenging. The final
container is a small ammo can. Enjoy!
